On April 29th, MDA had opened its first workshop (out of a series of 6). The "Leadership in the Community" workshops take place once a month, and are delivered to 30 of MDA volunteers and workers.
The three days workshop aims to provide the participants – MDA workers and volunteers, with essential tools of crises management, as well as providing assistance to the different communities in Israel, in times of war or a disaster.
The goal of the workshop is the establishment of an infrastructure for leaders and "ambassadors" to the community from within MDA staff and volunteers, who will serve as the basis and communication with the organizations and institutions as well as with the community during times of disaster or other distress situations and are in charge of the humanitarian activity in their region during a disaster or confrontation.
The Chairman of MDA Executive Committee, Dr. Noam Yifrach, and MDA Director General, Mr. Eli Bin, greet for the opening of the third workshop, taking place these days, July 8-10, at "Daniel" hotel, the Dead Sea.
