In Vancouver for his only Canadian stop on a cross-continental trip, Yoni Yagodovsky quickly pointed out just how "big" all the preparations and Olympic spirit are for Vancouver 2010. As Israel's Director of the International Department of MDA, Yoni was in Vancouver to meet the executive of our "Frozen Chosen" Olympic event, as well as its major supporters. He saw first-hand how Vancouver's chapter will capitalize on Olympic momentum and the spirit of volunteerism that now permeates the city, to produce a great memorial for the Israeli Olympians of Munich and a stirring welcome for Israel's official 2010 Team at an MDA-organized community event.

While here, Yoni partook in events honouring elementary students of Vancouver Talmud Torah and King David High School students, for their previous work to raise funds for and promote MDA. He also attended several church group events and met our all-volunteer chapter's board of directors, major donors, including directors of the Ben & Esther Dayson charitable Foundation, who are sponsoring our "Frozen Chosen" event.
