Home of MDA EMT hit by missile in northern Israel

22.06.2025 15:50

The home of Daniel Stein, a volunteer EMT with Magen David Adom, was struck this morning by a missile in northern Israel. “The missile landed right in front of our house, extremely close

The house suffered extensive damage from the impact. I made sure my family was safe, and then I got a call from Itzik Erblich, who’s also a volunteer EMT with MDA. I keep a first responder ambulance at home, and Itzik usually joins me when we respond to incidents. As soon as he heard the explosion, he called me, and I told him the strike hit my house,” Daniel recounts.

“He immediately came over and helped rescue my children from the house, from under the rubble. Once everyone was out, I also left the house and immediately began searching for and evacuating the injured from the scene. I see this as my mission—this is our job and this is why we’re here. We put our emotions and fear aside and go to work.”
