Canadian Magen David Adom holds major events
Two major Gala events were held by CMDAI recently, with another scheduled in just a few days time
Canadian Magen David Adom for Israel held two Gala events, one in Montreal and the other in Calgary, hosting hundreds of friends and supporters of Magen David Adom in Israel. Honored guests included former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper who was the keynote speaker in Montreal and had an ambulance dedicated in his honor, for his many years of friendship and support of the State of Israel and Magen David Adom.
Deputy Director of Blood Services, Prof. Eilat Shinar attended the events speaking about the vital work of the Blood Services department and the new Marcus National Blood Services Center, along with Ido Rosenblatt, MDA's Chief Technology Officer, Shafir Botner, head of the MDA Paramedic School, and Raphael Herbst who is the head of the Canadian Desk in MDA Israel's International Department.
The events were hugely successful, with entertainment provided and presentations made, leading to donations being made to Magen David Adom, including ambulances that will go on to save many lives in Israel.
