MDA Sells Chametz before Pesach

In the traditional ceremony, MDA Director General Eli Bin met with Israel's Chief Rabbi, in order to sell the Chametz, or leaven, that is forbidden to own on Passover. The annual ceremony ensures that Magen David Adom abides by Jewish law, and allows staff and volunteers to continue providing life-saving services throughout the festival of Pesach.
