Together, in the international struggle to prevent the spread of the corona
A special delegation of the Israeli Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health, with the participation of Magen David Adom and hospitals in Israel, organized by the charge of affairs in the Israeli embassy to the Philippines, Mr. Nir Balzam and the Ministry of Health arrived in the Philippines last week to share knowledge, conclusions and experience dealing with Corona virus.
Participants in the delegation met with the Philippine Secretary of Health, Dr. Duke, his officials as well as senior members of the Philippine National Joint Task Force for the fight against the Coronavirus , who presented the response in the Philippines. During the meeting, Chaim Rafalowski, MDA Disaster Management and EU Projects Coordinator and MDA representative at the ministry of health Emergency Operations Center, presented the management procedures, the partnership and procedures at the Ministry of Health COVID 19 Coordination Center, as well as the extensive experience gained by Magen David Adom in the fight against the virus during which Magen David Adom performed non-routine tasks such as taking samples at the citizens' homes, setting up test and drive complexes, vaccinations and more.
Later, the delegation visited a number of hospitals throughout the Manila capital region and were impressed by the work processes and challenges, while sharing with the hosts on management in the Israeli side. The delegation visited the ONE Hospital Command Center that, which is responsible for coordinating hospitalization of COVID patients across the country, as well as responding to all citizens' inquiries regarding COVID 19. Mr. Rafalowski presented to those presented the decision-making procedures in Israel and the management of the information.
