Gala Event held in Miami
Over 150 people attend event with special guest Gilad Erdan
Over 150 friends and supporters of MDA attended the "Celebration of Life" gala event held by the Southeast region of the American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA). Among those present were MDA Director General Eli Bin, Chief of Staff Uri Shacham, and AFMDA Southeast region Director Tammy Karu.
The guest speaker at the event was Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, who praised Magen David Adom's lifesaving activities in Israel and around the world.
The atmosphere at the event was described as amazing, with many attending speaking of the warm, family feel.
An award was presented to the family of the late Barry Goldstein, honoring his leadership and unwavering commitment of MDA, and through whose dedication, 13 ambulances were donated to MDA throughout the years.
Cathy Reed, CEO of AFMDA spoke of the event being "Spectacular, with a vibe and feeling of excitement that was new and embraced by the guests."
