Armenian Health Minister visits MDA
Armenian Health Minister holds an historic visit to MDA's National Operations Center in Kiryat Ono
Armenian Health Minister, Anahit Anavesyan visited Magen David Adom's National Operations Center (NOC) this week, where she met members of MDA's senior leadership and was given an overview of MDA's preparedness during routine and crisis times. She heard about the organization's activities during the corona pandemic, as well as the absorption of refugees from the war in Ukraine.
During the visit the Minister was introduced to the technologically advanced command and control system that MDA uses in the NOC, as well as the defibrillator program that places public access defibrillators across the country to be used by the public in cases of cardiac arrest, MDA's medicycle and first responders' unit, and MDA's activities in Israel and across the world.
Towards the end of her visit, Minister Anavesyan noted that the emergency medicine system in Armenia is undergoing changes, and that there is a great deal to be learnt from Magen David Adom's advanced systems.
