An MDA medic delivered his Corona-Sick Sister-in-law's baby
During a recent ambulance shift, Dovel’a Schachor, a senior MDA medic, received an urgent phone call from his brother, who had fallen ill from Corona, telling him that his wife, who had also fallen ill, was in advanced labor and was already giving birth. Dovel’a and paramedic Oren Kleiner raced to the house covered with protective gear, brought her into the ambulance. In the end, the baby came too fast, and Dovel'a had to help deliver the baby in the back of the ambulance. Within minutes, his nephew, a sweet baby, was born, and he called his brother and told him that his wife had given birth in an ambulance on the way to the hospital and that she and the baby were healthy. Needless to say, Dovel’a became the hero of the family and no doubt has a wonderful story for his nephew when he grows up.
