MK Amsalem visits Magen David Adom

MK Dudi Amsalem (Likud) visited MDA's National Operations Center (NOC) where he met MDA Director General Eli Bin, along with other senior members of the organization. MK Amsalem was briefed about the organization's activity, toured the NOC's 101 Emergency Call Center and heard about the extensive activities led by MDA as Israel's National Rescue Organization. MK Amsalem was also briefed on the MDA delegation to the Turkey earthquake disaster as part of the rescue delegation and in the field hospital.
MK Amsalem showed interest in the advanced technological systems that are developed in MDA in order to save lives, in the number of nationwide, active volunteers, and the MDA in the Community project that is expected to significantly reduce the pressures on the hospital emergency departments.

I came to show support, but felt more supported – it is heartwarming to see the thousands of volunteers, especially the youth, who are the future of MDA and our emergency network.
