Two events held in Australia attended by Director General Eli Bin, and MDA CFO Alon Fridman.
The first was held by Australian Friends of Magen David Adom in Sydney. The event was held in the home of long-time MDA supporters Rick and Jacqueline Abrahams, and hosted by president of AusFMDA Tony Ziegler. During their visit, Eli Bin and Alon Fridman emphasized the importance of the Friends' Societies in general, and described the society in Sydney as one that "works by all means to achieve the goals of MDA."
The second event, held by Magen David Adom Australia in Melbourne, saw 120 guests gather to hear about the secrets to longevity from A/Prof. Dion Stub and Dr. Norman Swan. The guests also heard from Director General Eli Bin about the work done by Magen David Adom in Israel in order to keep the residents of Israel safe, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. "I was deeply impressed," said Eli Bin, "by the efforts and hard work done by the Friends' Society team under the leadership of my dear friend Glynis Lipson. I wish to thank Glynis and her dedicated team, and especially the society's generous donors for strengthening Magen David Adom and enhancing its life-saving activities."
During the visit, both societies signed their agreements with MDA, continuing the vital relationship between MDA in Israel, and the societies around the world.
