3 Women Killed by Rocket Fire in the North – MDA Teams Treated 20 Others with Minor Injuries
Last night (Saturday night), at approximately 11:20 PM, emergency calls were received at MDA's 101 emergency dispatch center following a rocket strike near a residential building in the Western Galilee
Large MDA forces, including mobile intensive care units, ambulances, emergency medicycles, and first responders, were dispatched to the scene.
MDA EMTs and paramedics operated under heavy destruction in a three-storey building, where two women were rescued without signs of life, and their deaths were pronounced at the scene.
Another woman in critical condition was extracted from the building and evacuated in a private ambulance while undergoing resuscitation efforts – she was later pronounced dead at the hospital. This brought the total number of fatalities to three.
MDA teams provided medical treatment to 20 additional casualties: 10 with minor physical injuries and 10 suffering from anxiety – all were evacuated to Rambam, Bnei Zion, and the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
Additionally, from two other locations in the north, two people wounded by shrapnel in mild condition were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
Reinforced MDA teams are providing medical cover during searches in the damaged buildings. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
