Bat Mitzvah with a special MDA guest!
EMT in the MDA Dispatch guided the delivery of a baby 12 years ago. The girl recently celebrated her Bat Mitzvah, and invited the dispatcher for first a first-ever meeting
12 years ago, Adi Rozenfeld was an MDA 101 emergency call taker and answered a call in dispatch. On the other end of the phone was Shlomi, a Modiin resident, who was forced to stop at the side of the road with his wife on the way to hospital, and deliver the baby himself. Luckily, Dispatch EMT Adi guided Shlomi and told him exactly what he needed to do to help the delivery, and within minutes baby Hila was born.
Hila recently celebrated her Bat Mitzvah, to which Adi was invited. A recording of the phone call from that day 12 years ago was replayed at the event.
Adi Rozenfeld, Dispatch EMT who helped deliver Hila: "I did my job, it's what I know to do - to save lives, and if needed, to help deliveries too. It's been like this for 22 years now. Shlomi, and this wonderful mother are the real heroes here. Hila, from the short time I've had with your parents, I'm sure you'll achieve whatever you set out to do."
