4 serious, 1 moderate and 8 mild injuries from shooting at Western Galilee
At 13:07 today (Wednesday) reports were received in MDA's 101 Emergency Call Center of a number of casualties from shooting towards the Western Galilee. Large numbers of MDA teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, including emergency medicycles, ambulances and MICUs.
MDA EMTs and Paramedics along with IDF medical teams treated and evacuated 13 casualties, males in their 30s, including 4 seriously injured, 1 in moderate and 8 in mild condition.
MDA Senior EMT Ahmad Abed Al Hadi, MDA paramedic Rachel Elbo and MDA EMT and ambulance driver Amir Twil: "A 30 year old male was brought to us with head and limb injuries, we provided life-saving medical treatment, sedated and ventilated him and evacuated him to hospital in serious condition."
MDA EMT Agam Malka, MDA paramedic Simon Gabay and MDA Senior EMT Dimitry Garfeld: "A 30 year old, fully conscious male was brought to us with shrapnel injuries, we moved him to the MICU, provided life-saving treatment including stopping the bleeds and drug therapy, and evacuated him to hospital in serious condition."
MDA paramedic Durad Mubarka and MDA EMTs Hana Hamisa and Mirel Assi: "We met a vehicle with a 52 year old fully conscious male, with shrapnel injuries to his limbs. We treated and evacuated him to Nahariya Hospital in moderate and stable condition."
MDA Senior EMT Wahid Ali who was one of the first to reach the casualties: "Along with an IDF medical team we triaged the casualties under fire, and found 13 casualties. 4 were in serious condition, 1 moderate and 8 males in their 30s were fully conscious with shrapnel injuries. We moved them all to ambulances and evacuated them to hospital."
