111 new Magen David Adom Paramedics is Graduation Ceremony
Last week, a graduation ceremony took place to mark 111 new Magen David Adom paramedics who have recently completed their studies and training.
A Magen David Adom graduation ceremony took place marking 111 new paramedics completing their training. Those present included Executive Deputy Director General Oren Blustein, Medical Deputy Director General Dr. Raphael Strugo, director of the Paramedic School Dr. Shafir Botner, and his deputy Chen Vermus, Regional Directors and other dignitaries.
Executive Deputy Director General Oren Blustein: "When a paramedic arrives on scene, there is a complex responsibility on his shoulders. To be alone at the scene, entering a family's home in their most critical, raw moments, requires resilience, professionalism, and mostly compassion. Our paramedics are at the forefront of our organization, and we congratulate you all. Thanks to you, Israel's resilience is alive and breathing, and we see this at every moment of every day. Wishing you great success."
Director General Eli Bin: "To be a paramedic in Magen David Adom is to be someone who deals with saving lives 24 hours a day - and that's you. You are professional and worthy of great admiration. I'd like to show my appreciation to your families too, and ask your forgiveness that our paramedics will be forced to leave you in the middle of family events, or leave your Shabbat table to join a shift, or when there are escalations, or other missions that we may ask them to fulfil. Without your support, I doubt that they would be able to carry out their duties. And finally, thank you to you - the new MDA paramedics, staff and volunteers, my wish is that you continue saving lives. Thank you and Shana Tova."
