Shooting Terror attack by Parsa Junction in Binyamin
At 05:26 yesterday morning (Friday 22.3), calls were received to MDA’s 101 Emergency Call Center in the Jerusalem Region of a shooting at a (bulletproof) transport vehicle on route 463 by the Parsa Junction, near the Dolev and Talmon communities in Binyamin.
MDA teams who arrived on scene reported that miraculously none of the passengers in the vehicle were injured.
Large numbers of IDF forces chased the terrorist, with 1 soldier killed and 7 soldiers injured during the firefight.
MDA EMTs and Paramedics, along with IDF medical teams and a helicopter, provided medical treatment and evacuated 7 casualties to Sheba and Beilinson Hospitals: 2 is serious condition, 1 in moderate condition and 4 in mild condition.
Shots were fired at a Magen David Adom bulletproof ambulance, with bullets hitting the front windscreen and the roof of the ambulance, miraculously there were no injuries.
MDA Paramedic and local resident Pini Greenberg: “As soon as we received the reports we headed to the scene, and once we heard that there were no casualties on the transport vehicle we stopped and waited nearby. At a later stage we received reports of security forces who were injured while chasing the terrorist, and we moved towards Parsa Junction, when we reached the junction we were fired upon and the ambulance was hit by terrorist gunfire. Miraculously we weren’t injured. We then met with 6 casualties, provided them with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated them to hospitals, some in the helicopter and the other in MDA ambulances and MICUs.”
