German BBK Agency visits MDA
A delegation of the German BBK - The Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance, visited MDA this week
As part of a visit by the German BBK delegation to Israel, the Senior Medical Advisor and Director of Research and Development, came to MDA National Dispatch Centre in Kiryat Ono and visited the new and highly protected MDA Marcus National Blood Services Center and MDA Human Milk Bank, in addition to the MDA Sderot station, in order to learn about the organization's activities during the events during October 7th hamas terrorist attacks in particular, and during the "Iron Swords" war in general, in order to review Germany's preparedness facing future, potential events.
The delegation members received an overview of MDA activities, were exposed to the technologies activated by the organisation that helped to save lives, such as chat conversations with citizens who could not talk over the phone, receiving photos and video calls. They spoke with the team members and learned from the extended advanced knowledge of Magen David Adom about the organisation's preparedness facing future emergency situations.
