Major supporter events take place in France
Maguen David Adom France held events in Strasbourg and Paris with almost 1,000 people attending the gala events
Maguen David Adom France held three events recently, two of them in France, and one earlier event held in London, raising funds for Magen David Adom in Israel.
The event in London - the first of its kind to be held by the French Friends' society's in the UK was arranged by the Francophone committee with the assistance of MDAUK. The event was attended by many French-speaking residents in London, and raised a large amount of donations, expected to reach close to US$500,000.
The first event in France took place in Strasbourg, artists Cecile Ben and Steve Suissa performed Time of a Violin. The event was attended by 270 guests, along with MDA Director General Eli Bin and Ambassador of Israel to France Yaël German.
The second event was the gala event that took place in Paris, attended by over 650 guests.
Entertainment was provided by Kendji Girac - a well known French singer-songwriter. Also in attendance were several figures from Magen David Adom in Israel, including Director General Eli Bin, Deputy Director General Alon Fridman, and head of the French Desk in MDA's International Relations Department Ilan Klein, who all played an active part in the success of the evening.
