MK Avraham Betzalel visited Magen David Adom's National Operations Center in Kiryat Ono, where he met MDA Director General Eli Bin and other senior members of management. MK Betzalel was briefed on MDA's activities, toured the 101 Emergency Call Center, and was made aware of the challenges faced by MDA in both routine and times of crisis. 

MK Betzalel took a keen interest in the MDA in the Community project and the unique medical equipment already in use in MDA that will help reduce the pressures on the Emergency Rooms, in the public access defibrillators placed in public areas and synagogues that help save lives across Israel, and in the advanced technologies used by MDA in order to save lives. He was also briefed on how first responders from all organizations are dispatched equally by MDA to the scenes of emergency calls. 

MK Avraham Betzalel: "I have been following your activities for many years, including in my previous role in the Jerusalem Municipality. You deserve high praise for the amazing work you do. I want to congratulate you in particular for the important defibrillator initiative across hundreds of synagogues in Jerusalem. This is simply a life-saving idea. When you save the life of one person, thanks to you they raise further generations. I pledge to help and assist you in the Knesset in order to save more lives in Israel."
