About three years ago, a 5-unit matriculation study program in the field of "Emergency Professions" was opened.
Various areas related to the field of emergency were studied, both theoretically and practically. The project was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Jerusalem Municipality together with MDA, the Fire Department and the Home Front Command.
MDA has a very significant place in the program in terms of partnership and school hours. During their schooling, the students volunteer at MDA and at the end of the three years of study, they are qualified as EMTs.
Last week, an evening of appreciation was held for all participants in the program in the presence representatives of the Ministry of Education and the emergency organizations. The study of the program in the schools is led by teachers who are MDA employees / volunteers.
