66 MDA Volunteers join as First Responders
Joining MDA's First Responders unit: 66 further EMTs, a Paramedic and a Doctor from Ayalon Region joined MDA's First Responders unit this week
At a ceremony held in Pais hall in Rishon LeTzion, 66 MDA volunteers from Ayalon Region received advanced First Aid equipment and officially joined MDA's First Responders unit.
Aside from their activities on the ambulances and MICUs, the new first responders will now be dispatched via MDA's app to emergencies nearby, providing treatment and help to anyone in need at any moment.
Attending the ceremony were MDA's director of Ayalon Region Efi Bar, deputy directors of Ayalon Region Ziv Kleinbart, Ofir Shaish and Oded Shinkman, and directors and volunteers managers of the stations in Ayalon Region.
Paramedic Eldar Malka held out a professional training at the ceremony regarding the assessment of a patients' condition on field.
MDA's Director of Ayalon region, Efi Bar: " I congratulate the 66 new volunteers joining the First Responder unit and enhancing the quality and improving the response time in the Ayalon Region. I'm confident that the new first responders taking upon themselves the new role will provide rapid first aid in their area and help reduce the response time for any one in need."
