After the death of his father, senior MDA motorcycle EMT, Ben Peled, raised money to buy a public domain defibrillator. He didn't know he would later use it to save the life of a 53 year old man who collapsed from a heart attack.

"When I arrived I connected the defibrillator to the patient and within seconds the defibrillator detected that it was a heart attack and recommended electric shock...we brought him back to life."

Thankfully, he was evacuated to the hospital, alive and breathing.
