A Reward for the Outstanding Volunteer
Congratulations to Amit Heisler, from Moshav Moreshet, a student of Yeshivat Tikvat Yaakov in the Jezreel Valley and a youth volunteer at MDA for about two and a half years, who received the “Elad Rivan Volunteer Award” for his significant contribution to society and the community.
"Receiving the award moved me greatly, especially in light of the fact that my brother also received the award about three years ago. The smile on a patient's face and the gratitude we, MDA volunteers receive from his family after the treatment we provide are the best award possible," said Amit.
The volunteer award is given in the name of the late boy Elad Rivan who volunteered at " Firefighters Scouts " and perished in the Carmel disaster in 2010 and is awarded annually to outstanding youth in donating to the community.
