Magen David Adom recently welcomed physicians from across Israel to its National Simulation Center for an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course, held in partnership with the Israeli Surgical Association.

The course is an example of the longstanding collaboration between MDA's Training Division and the Israeli Surgical Association, combining MDA's state-of-the-art simulation facilities with the expertise of leading trauma physicians. Participants trained using advanced simulation technology and realistic emergency scenarios designed to strengthen clinical decision-making and hands-on trauma care skills.

MDA's National Simulation Center is considered one of Israel's leading centers for emergency medical training, provides healthcare professionals with an immersive learning environment where they can safely practice managing complex trauma cases before encountering them in real-life emergencies.

Beyond serving as Israel's national emergency medical service, MDA has become one of the country's leading pillars of emergency preparedness and medical education. By combining operational experience from hundreds of thousands of emergency calls each year with world-class simulation training, MDA helps shape the skills and readiness of healthcare professionals throughout Israel, strengthening the entire scale of emergency care, from the scene of an incident to the hospital.

The ATLS course brought together doctors from hospitals throughout the country, who trained alongside MDA instructors to enhance their ability to rapidly assess, prioritize, and treat critically injured patients.

The Israeli Surgical Association expressed its appreciation to MDA's Training Division for its continued partnership and commitment to advancing trauma education.
