Corona Vaccine for Employees in the Workplace
As part of the Ministry of Health's plan to vaccinate the population in the State of Israel and to enable the economy to return to activity as quickly as possible, Magen David Adom and the HMOs began vaccinating employees in the workplace on Sunday.
As part of the project with the Ministry of Health, MDA and the HMO’s will go to the workplaces and vaccinate those who are interested. One of the first was Partner, based in Rosh HaAyin.
Since the vaccinations began in Israel, MDA teams have participated in the national effort to vaccinate the population in dozens of mobile vaccination caravans throughout the country, with the aims to enable the economy to be restarted - by vaccinating workers against the corona virus in companies and factories around the country.
Magen David Adom recently completed Operation "Magen Avot V’Imahot" of the Ministry of Health, in which all residents and staff members in the nursing homes and protected housing in the country were vaccinated. In doing so, Israel became the first country in the world to fully vaccinate all assisted living and nursing home facilities.
MDA Director General Eli Bin: "The national goal is to quickly vaccinate the entire population in the State of Israel so that we can return to a normal life. On Sunday morning another special operation was launched with the aim of making vaccines accessible and adding vaccinated employees to the economy and industry. "As Israel’s National Emergency Medical and Blood Services Organization, together with the Ministry of Health, we make every effort to get everywhere and do everything to defeat the pandemic. I thank Internal Security Minister Amir Ohana for his efforts to advance the important project that undoubtedly helps accelerate the eradication of the corona pandemic."
