Emergency Landing

On Monday, August 2, at 2:02 PM, a call was received at the MDA National Operation Center about an American Airlines plane carrying 183 passengers who took off from Miami on its way to Ben Gurion Airport with a front wheel malfunction.
MDA immediately activated the emergency landing protocol and MDA crews were launched at the airport, including MDA emergency motorcycles, first responders, ambulances and intensive care units in order to medically secure the plane's landing with a malfunction.
After tense moments, the plane landed safely
