Maguen David Adom France holds Marseille Gala
MDA Director General in attendance as over 1,200 people attend the annual event in Marseille, one of the largest in France
Maguen David Adom France held another major event, capping a month of events that took place across Europe and the UK. The Marseille Gala, held on 4th of December at the Palais Des Congres & Des Expositions in the city, was attended by over 1,200 members of the Jewish community in Marseille and surrounding areas.
Also in attendance were Magen David Adom in Israel Director General Eli Bin, President of MDA France Michel Ktorza, Director General of MDA in Europe Victor Wintz, and President of the Marseille branch of MDA France, Dr. Luc Benattar.
MDA Director General Eli Bin described the event as having an amazing atmosphere, and that the French hosts were as always warm and welcoming.
The 1,200 strong crowd of supporters were entertained throughout the evening by well-known singer-songwriter Kendji Girac whose music drew the crowd along with him.
It has been an impressive and successful few weeks for Maguen David Adom France, its staff, volunteers and supporters, as once again, many donations were raised on the evening for Magen David Adom, that will go towards vehicles and equipment that will save lives in Israel every day.
