MDA Emissaries vaccinated in Ben Gurion by Magen David Adom
175 Emissaries and Employees of the Israeli Embassies in Europe were Vaccinated by MDA Teams as Part of a Special Vaccine Operation by the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs and Health
As part of the national fight against the Corona virus, MDA EMTs and paramedics vaccinated 175 emissaries and embassy workers from Europe who arrived in Israel on a special flight to Ben Gurion Airport and immediately returned to the countries where they are stationed.
The emissaries and embassy staff will come to Israel again to receive the second dose of vaccine.
Among the vaccinated was Noa Hakim, a spokesperson for the Israeli embassy in Madrid who was vaccinated by her sister, MDA volunteer Dr. Roni Hakim MD: "I arrived in Israel today to get vaccinated together with other emissaries from European countries. It is known in Spain and other European countries that Israel is a world leader in the vaccination campaign, doing so quickly and efficiently. It's a very exciting moment for me and I'm proud to be a part of it and finally get vaccinated."
MDA volunteer, Dr. Roni Hakim MD, who vaccinated her sister Noa: I heard that there is a special operation to fly the embassies’ employees to Israel and that my sister arrives so I asked to be among the vaccinators and her friends who contribute a lot to the country, this is the small donation I can give them." She added and concluded "Go get vaccinated!"
MDA EMT Yifat Glasman, who vaccinated the emissaries: "This is the third flight of embassy employees from all over the world. MDA, as the national emergency medical and blood services organization, vaccinates here at Ben Gurion Airport. Taking part in this important vaccination campaign is exciting for both us and them."
MDA paramedic Rami Meushar, who is in charge of MDA's vaccination complex at Ben Gurion Airport: "We soon vaccinated all the passengers who arrived on the plane. It is an exciting experience and we are proud to be part of the national mission to vaccinate the emissaries of the State of Israel around the world."
