MK Moshe Roth on MDA visit
MK Moshe Roth, Knesset Vice Chairman (Agudat Israel) Visited Magen David Adom on Thursday
MK and Knesset Vice Chairman Moshe Roth (Agudat Israel) visited Magen David Adom's National Dispatch Center on Thursday, where he met MDA's Director General Eli Bin among other members of MDA's senior management team. MK Roth heard about the organization's activities since the first hours of the 'Iron Swords' war, the activities of the teams out on the frontline, some while risking their lives, the high alert the organization maintains and the preparations for future events. MK Roth toured the 101 Emergency Dispatch Center and heard stories of the bravery of MDA teams who sacrificed their lives while providing medical treatment.
MK Roth saw the MDA ambulance from Kissufim that was damaged by the terrorists' gunfire in the first moments of the infiltration to the Kibbutz in order to sabotage it, and to prevent MDA's paramedics and EMTs from treating and evacuating the casualties.
Additionally, MK Roth heard about MDA's Blood Services who collected more than 80,000 blood units since the war broke out that will be used to treat the casualties and are also provided to the IDF's medical personnel.
