New MDA Partnerships in the United States

21.12.2020 09:36

Magen David Adom, has begun to offer courses on behalf of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). The NAEMT is responsible for the representation and continued professional education of all EMS professionals in the United States. Last week, the first PHTLS (pre-hospital trauma life support) class endorsed by the NAEMT was offered. The course will enrich the knowledge of Israel’s most experienced pre-hospital care providers and provide them with additional knowledge and tools.

This training comes on the heels of an additional partnership which has been formed between MDA and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) which allows all of MDA’s EMR and EMT course graduates to apply for certification in the United States, and thereby streamline the licensing process between the United States and Israel.

NAEMT Instructor and NREMT Program Coordinator Abigail Klein: “These agreements will greatly enrich both organizations and pave the way for all personnel to be trained to the highest international standards and allow all in need to receive the best possible care. We anticipate long lasting partnerships and great opportunities through these partnerships with both the NAEMT and NREMT, who both lead in the field of EMS.”
