Magen David Adom Continues to Operate Many Vaccination, Rapid and Serological Test Sites Throughout the Country Includingon Weekends
At the request of the Ministry of Health, Magen David Adom is increasing the number of rapid testing stations and continuing to conduct tests through the weekend. MDA is currently operating more than 170 rapid testing sites throughout Israel including 3 Drive in complexes.
MDA has also begun vaccinating in remote areas where the percentage of people receiving the vaccines is low and morbidity is high.
The rapid tests, provide a result in 15 minutes and are intended to issue a 24 hour “green pass” from the Ministry of Health to those who are not vaccinated or recovered.
Last week, MDA operated a vaccination complex in Dizengoff Square in Tel Aviv, which operated throughout the night, to which thousands of people came to receive the vaccine.
MDA Director General, Eli Bin: “In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Magen David Adom will continue to operate the rapid testing stations at more than 170 locations throughout Israel. In addition, MDA is operating serological testing sites which will allow the public, including children to continue their routine alongside corona and enjoy events and activities which require the “green pass”. In an attempt to reduce congestion and prevent crowding, we have opened additional sites and during the week even more sites will be opened.”
