The Future is Here and Now
The Jerusalem Post Group held its tenth annual conference on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the New Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem. In attendance were the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Naftali Bennett, and the President of Israek, Mr. Yitzhak Herzog.
At the Annual Conference, speakers and panelists discussed the health, economic and security challenges plaguing Israel, and the growing gap between Israelis and Diaspora Jews. They also celebrated the country’s innovation and successes.
Among the speakers were Professor Eilat Shinar, MDA Deputy Director- Blood Services and Dr. Shafir Botner, Paramedic School Director, who spoke about the organization's role in routine and emergency times and how the organization stood at the forefront of the fight against Corona in Israel when it took over testing, vaccinating and distributing antigen kits while continuing to respond to routine calls.
The participation of MDA personnel was coordinated by the American Friends of Magen David Adom.
