Magen David Adom in mourning after MDA volunteer Dolev Yehoud's Z"L body found on Kibbutz Nir Oz and identified, after being murdered on October 7

Dolev Z"L, 35, was a volunteer EMT on his Kibbutz Nir Oz and in the Ofakim region. On the morning of October 7, when the terror attack began and terrorists infiltrated the kibbutz, he left his family in the safe room, went to assist and save lives under fire, never to return. It was confirmed on Monday that he was murdered on the cursed Shabbat, and his body was found on the kibbutz, following a complex identification process.

Dolev Z"L was buried in the cemetery on Kibbutz Nir Oz. Dolev leaves a wife, four children, parents, a brother, and a sister who is still held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

MDA EMT and Nir Oz resident, Giora Zehavi: "Dolev was a professional EMT, would attend every call in the area, no matter when, day or night, he was always the first on sight. He was well-liked and friendly, there was no-one inside or outside of the organization who didn't like him."

MDA Director General, Eli Bin: "Dolev Z"L was a dedicated volunteer who saved many lives, and fell on that dark Saturday while providing medical aid to those injured on the kibbutz. He was always on call, and responded to every call to which he was dispatched. During these difficult times, we strengthen and hold close Dolev's family, and share their deep sorrow. May his memory be blessed."
