U.S. Independence Day: Thousands of U.S. Flags Fly on Magen David Adom Stations and Ambulances
To mark U.S. Independence Day on July 4th, Magen David Adom has chosen to pay tribute to President Donald Trump and the American people, as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for their immense support of Israel, both in times of routine and during the Iron Swords War, and Operation "Rising Lion."
Thousands of American flags were placed on MDA ambulances, Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICUs), Medicycles, and stations across the country, as a token of appreciation for the strong and longstanding friendship, as well as the extraordinary support that MDA has received from the United States over the years.
“The unwavering support of the American people for Israel, both in everyday life and especially during times of emergency, is heartwarming and deeply moving,” said MDA Director General Eli Bin.
“Magen David Adom has a unique and long-standing relationship with our friends in the United States. Some of the most advanced technologies used by MDA, including MICUs, cutting-edge resuscitation equipment, mobile stations, and disaster response units, were made possible thanks to the generous donations we receive from our supporters in the U.S..
This is a special opportunity to thank President Donald Trump, along with the Jewish, Christian and pro-Israel communities who have supported us for many years, and especially during the recent war. This is a strong partnership that saves lives every day. We will never forget it.”
