34 injured in rocket strike on the Gush Dan area
Friday evening, Magen David Adom’s 101 Emergency Dispatch Center received reports of casualties following rocket strikes in the Gush Dan region
Large MDA forces were immediately dispatched to the scene with ambulances, Mobile Intensive Care Units, and mediycles. They provided lifesaving medical care and evacuated 34 injured to hospitals, including:
A woman around 60 years old in critical condition to Beilinson Hospital
A man around 65 in serious condition to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer
A woman around 50 in moderate condition to Sheba Medical Center
A man around 50 in moderate condition to Ichilov Hospital
30 individuals with light injuries from blast impacts and contusions, evacuated to Ichilov, Sheba, and Beilinson hospitals,
Additionally, 13 people suffering from anxiety were evacuated from the scene.
Deputy Director of the Dan Region and MDA Paramedic Harel Sasson said:
"We were dispatched to a scene of significant destruction caused by a rocket hitting a building. Victims were evacuated to us, including a woman around 70 years old in critical condition after being trapped under rubble. We gave her medical care and evacuated her to the hospital while performing resuscitation.
We also treated a seriously injured man with shrapnel wounds to the face, and another woman in moderate condition, also wounded by shrapnel. We treated several others with light injuries and evacuated them to hospitals. Large MDA teams remain at the scene, providing medical cover for ongoing building searches and are prepared to respond further as needed."
Simcha Simandayev, Director of the Jaffa MDA Station and a paramedic, said:
"We arrived at the scene with large MDA teams and immediately began treating the wounded, including one in moderate condition with head injuries, burns, and smoke inhalation from a fire. We treated him and others with light injuries and quickly evacuated them to hospitals."
