One injured in a stabbing attack in Tel Aviv
Today (Saturday) at 4:30 PM, a report was received at Magen David Adom's (MDA) 101 emergency hotline in the Dan region about a stabbing attack on Mikveh Israel Street, corner of HaHashmal Street, Tel Aviv
Large MDA forces, including an intensive care ambulance and MDA motorcycles, were dispatched to the scene.
MDA paramedics and EMTs provided initial medical treatment at the scene to a 28-year-old man who sustained injuries to his upper body. The victim was fully conscious and in moderate condition. He was evacuated in stable condition to Ichilov Hospital for further treatment. The assailant was neutralized at the scene.
MDA senior medic Itai Atias reports:
"We rapidly arrived at the scene with large forces and noticed a man in his late 20s lying on the road fully conscious, suffering from a stab wound to his upper body. We immediately gave him life-saving medical treatment. He communicated with us and talked to us, we placed him in to an Intensive Care Unit and evacuated him while continuing medical treatment, he is in moderate condition."
