Beijing Health Officials Visit MDA to Learn EMS Capabilities

Beijing Health Ministry officials visited MDA to learn from the organization's knowledge and capabilities in EMT and blood services

Senior officials from Beijing's Health Ministry, a city of some 20 million people, arrived in Israel and met with senior officials at Magen David Adom to learn about the advanced capabilities of Israel's National Emergency Medical and Blood Services Organization.

During their visit, the senior officials, including the deputy director of the Ministry of Health, toured MDA's National Operations Center in Kiryat Ono and received an overview of the organization's activities.

The delegation members were impressed by Magen David Adom’s advanced technology, its ability to operate volunteers and the community's involvement in the National Emergency Medical and Blood Services Organization. As part of the visit to the MDA National Operations Center, the delegation members watched a special drill, in which they were exposed to some of Magen David Adom's capabilities. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the visits of senior medical personnel from China, who come to learn from of Magen David Adom.

At the same time, senior officials from Magen David Adom participate in professional delegations to China, as part of the cooperation between the two countries in the field of emergency medicine.

MDA Deputy Director General-Community Dr. Eli Jaffe: "We appreciate the seriousness of the group that came to Israel from Beijing. We met a highly professional group that goes down to detail and is very interested in the work of Magen David Adom. We were impressed with their willingness to do everything possible for the health of the residents of Beijing and to save lives, and we are happy to assist them share our knowledge and experience".

MDA Director General Eli Bin: "at Magen David Adom, we are constantly working to save more lives and are of one of the most technologically advanced systems in the world. Often, we are called upon to show our technologies and advancements in the field to medical professionals from around the world. It is a tremendous honor and exciting for us to share our knowledge with other medical professionals and work together to save lives".
