Wednesday, Magen David Adom teams transferred dozens of patients from Rambam Hospital back to Carmel Hospital in Haifa
These patients had originally been evacuated by MDA at the start of Operation "Am K’Lavi – Rising Lion" in order to provide them with protection in Rambam’s underground fortified facility.
The transfer was carried out using MDA's Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) buses, which are equipped to transport 7 intensive care patients with advanced medical equipment, along with 9 additional seats for mild cases. The operation also utilized MDA ambulances.
