Magen David Adom and Soroka Hospital's Trauma Conference
About 100 Magen David Adom medics and paramedics and 100 medical personnels from Soroka Hospital participated in the trauma conference that took place in Soroka. The lectures were given by many people, including Dr. Rafi Strogo, MDA's Deputy Director General – Medicine, and Prof. Gad Shaked, Director of the Soroka Trauma
Department. They spoke about the innovations and future trends in the field. Additional lectures were given by Soroka and MDA personnel, and the IDF Medical Corps.
The purpose of the conference was to deepen the teams' knowledge, learn from each other, and strengthen the cooperation between MDA and Soroka Hospital.
Prof. Gilbert Sabag, Chairman of the Surgical Division and Head of the Soroka Trauma array: “The joint conference with MDA emphasized continuity from the initial treatment in the field, to the trauma and the operating rooms in the hospital. We ascribe great importance to the cooperation between the hospital staff and the MDA and IDF teams throughout the year. "
