Today, from mid-afternoon, until midnight, the mobile “Drive Thru" complex of Magen David Adom and the Ministry of Health will operate in the parking lot of the Municipal Sports Center on Emek Zevulun Street in Modi'in. Four lanes were deployed on the site, in order to enable hundreds of Modi’in and the surrounding areas’ residents to be tested today.

The test at the “Drive Thru " complexes is conditional upon contacting Magen David Adom's 101hotline, and obtaining approval. Anyone approved by a physician to be sampled, receives an SMS message with the details, and is requested to arrive at the complex at the specified time. As part of the sampling process, the person arrives at a private vehicle to the complex with an ID card, will have data identification and verification, after which sampling is taken by paramedic. Throughout the process, the driver remains in his vehicle, and then drives back directly to his home.

So far, 18,920 civilians have been sampled at the complexes, 2,369 today and, in total, since the corona virus has spread worldwide; Magen David Adom's paramedics have taken samples from 53,000 people nationwide.
