7 Cases Following “Red Alert" at 2 Scenes
To: The best Immediate First Responders of MDA,
We, the immediate first responders and volunteers have had a hard night, but as we are accustomed, in such situations, the MDA Sderot station was rediscovered in its glory.
While the city of Sderot was hit by rocket barrages in the middle of the night and as the increased alert that MDA Sderot has been keeping for a long time, ambulance drivers jumped from the beds straight to the ambulances to reinforce the response to cases in the city. Medicyles that moved at record speed from one case to another, drivers with vehicles that arrived to the scene and evacuated the injured together with the crews and station’s EMTs who would reinforce the night shift crews and all this while their families gathered at the residential secure space for fear of further firing on the city.
The immediate first responders unit of the MDA Sderot station operated all night between the various cases in the city and evacuated various patients to the hospital until the morning hours.
These are complex and tense days for the MDA station in Sderot, here we are measured again and with great success.
If in years past stations in the region would back us up at events like yesterday, today we are already a big family that knows how to take over every event in the city in amazing cooperation with the various security forces in the city who help deal with the various arenas just like last Saturday.
MDA Sderot Station, you should be proud! We will continue to invest in first responders, life-saving equipment and of course in those who want to have the night shift 😉 and all for our precious city Sderot and the surrounding communities when the goal is *saving lives *
