For MDA EMT Anas Al-Asam, saving lives is deeply personal. From responding to a call only to discover his own brother injured at the bottom of a pit, to delivering a family's long-awaited first daughter in the back of an ambulance, Anas has experienced both ends of MDA's lifesaving mission. And he is far from the only one in his family wearing the uniform: some 21 members of the Al-Asam family serve with Magen David Adom.
