MDA International EMS Seminar

An In-Depth Experience in Israel’s Emergency Medical System
Magen David Adom (MDA) – Israel’s National EMS Organization – invites physicians and healthcare professionals from around the world to participate in a five-day professional seminar in prehospital emergency medicine, combining academic learning, professional exposure, and hands-on field experience.
The seminar provides participants with a comprehensive look at Israel’s model for real-time prehospital emergency medical management, integrating advanced technology, innovative medical protocols, and state-of-the-art command and control capabilities.
During the seminar, participants will receive a complete overview of Israel’s “Chain of Survival”, from the moment an emergency occurs until the patient is safely transferred to the hospital.
They will explore every stage of the response – from the initial emergency call to MDA, through community first aid activation, rapid deployment of volunteer first responders, and the dispatch of ambulances, mobile intensive care units, and when needed, helicopters, rescue boats, intensive care buses, and other specialized resources – all simultaneously and in real time, powered by unique technology developed by MDA.
Participants will gain insight into how Magen David Adom – the organization entrusted with saving lives across Israel – coordinates and manages complex medical emergencies through seamless collaboration among medical teams, security forces, and civilian emergency systems.
